HOW DO I GET TO AQABA?
The national airline of Jordan, Royal Jordanian Airlines, links the capital city, Amman, with many other European, southern Asian, and American cities. Many other international airlines also operate flights to Amman.
There are many options for travel within Jordan. Rental cars are plentiful (your own national licence is OK), the road system is well laid out with good highways and some scenic by-ways too. Plus signs are in English too, and signs for for tourist sites are well displayed. Most of the major attractions Jordan has to offer are within a few hour's drive of Aqaba. Royal Jordanian operate a regular service between Amman and Aqaba for a very reasonable price. Air-conditioned express bus services (TRUST and JETT) operate several times a day between Amman and Aqaba. A single fare costs just 4 or 5 JD.
 
DO YOU OFFER A TRANSFER SERVICE?
The Alcazar provides free transfers between the hotel and Aqaba airport, as well as daily shuttles between Club Murjan and the hotel. We also arrange transfers from Amman Int. Airport (QAIA) to Aqaba or vice versa.
 
I OPERATE A WHEELCHAIR - CAN YOU ACCOMMODATE ME?
Wheelchair access is not a problem, the Alcazar lobby is situated at street level and spacious elevators and corridors on every level provide easy mobility. Plus some bathrooms can accommodate wheelchairs. Just mention this at time of booking.
 
WHAT IMMUNISATIONS DO I NEED?
No immunisations are officially required by Jordanian law and there is no risk of malaria. However, Hepatitis C, Polio and Tetanus immunisations are considered a wise idea for any travel to newly developing countries.
